The Legend of Moloch's Shield
The magic shield is made from the ancient serpent Moloch who guards the ruins of the lost city of Phoenicia. Nobody knows exactly where the city can be found, but collectors claim that they have seen artifacts from Phoenicia. Old warriors tell stories that there was a fearless ranger who possessed the shield of Moloch. Monks say that the people of Phoenicia were destroyed by the Gods for their excessive use of Black Power and their remains are hidden in the heart of the darkest forests of the East.
A long and dangerous journey will await anyone who is determined to obtain the Shield of Moloch. There are no roads, no maps; only the imprecise directions of the monks. But the real challenge starts when the traveler reaches the lost city of Phoenicia. It is full of forgotten magic creatures and furious semi-gods. The traveler must always remember the ever present level of black magic that caused the downfall of Phoenicia.
Not all of the devils should be killed- only the head of the magic serpent Moloch is needed. If the stars should grace the adventurer's braveness then Moloch's head should be rushed to the craftsman Ba'alla whilst the serpent's blood is still warm. Once again nobody knows for sure where he can be found or even if he exists at all.
But the prize for this adventure is worth the effort. The shield of Moloch not only protects but has a set of four sharp blades for attack. However, these are not the most important feature. The wonder is that the head of Moloch is still half alive. It has its senses and would provide the forgotten spells of Phoenicia. But revealing all its powers would take some time. The possessor must tame it with whispered words and feed it with the blood of its enemies - or his own.
The shield of Moloch is not just one more piece of a weapon. It's the dark comrade and the source of Phoenicia's magic. So think very carefully, brave traveler, before heading for this adventure!
